Description
A Foam Buffer with a Nerf Gun Built in.
This is the sword "Lion's Bane" from Monster Hunter Tri, (If you're wondering, I play online. the name's "Rukh" id#:FukIDon'tKnow. Find me, that'd be kool) made for Missouri State's Live Action Society.
Its made of foam, DuctTape, and PVC.. mostly.. pretty much the coolest LARP weapon I've made.
-LAS is a Nerf Gun based group, and as such the sword has some tweaks, Inside the gray area its got a cut-down Dart-tag pistol, with trigger device behind the "mane". It shoots darts 40+ feet and is cocked by pulling back on the first "ring"
-LAS also uses tennis balls as "grenades" the ball has one bounce to kill players and 2 hits shatters shields. thus, i Velcroed one to the inside of the cup-shaped pommel.
-it also features a foam trowing knife that slides from beneath the guard... its like walking around with a light armory in your hand.

as an alternative to duct tape, wich is frowned upon, and latex which is expensive, you should consider plasti dip, you can use it just like latex and make some amazing weapons.
